Registering a company in Dubai takes days. Getting it a bank account and a way to take card payments takes months, and that is the part nobody sells you a package for.
Seamless Middle East 2027 dates
24–26 May 2027 at the Dubai World Trade Centre — the Al Multaqua Ballroom, the Sheikh Maktoum Hall and Halls 1 to 8. Organised by Terrapinn Middle East, and listed by the venue as a trade-only exhibition in business and finance.
Why it is on this site
The banking and payments question is the one this guide keeps returning to, because it is the one a licence does not answer. Seamless is where the acquirers, payment gateways and the banks' merchant-services teams stand in one hall for three days, and it is the only setting where they can be asked the same question side by side.
Trade only
Registration is not open to the public. A new company can register on its trade licence, which is generally the first thing that licence is good for beyond the licence itself.
Go with the licence in hand, and go on the first day. The value here is not the keynotes; it is that a merchant-services conversation which normally takes three weeks of email happens in ten minutes at a stand, and you can have that conversation four times before lunch and compare. Ask each one the same two things: the settlement period, and what they require from a company with no trading history in the UAE. That second answer varies more between providers than any published rate card suggests, and it is the answer that decides whether a new licence can trade this quarter or next.
